Yamaha YXZ1000R 3-inch Hood Lift Kit (Standard Hood lift) - Fits XTR SS SE

This high-quality kit is designed to increase lighting from the stock headlights, increase cleanability, and add a subtle unique look to your Yamaha YXZ. Our V3 kit is the latest iteration, making installation easier and increasing aesthetics. Now available in BLUE!

With this kit, your headlights and housings stay in place while the hood and center hood section are lifted. The font tip of the hood is lifted approximately 3" higher than stock. There are 7 engineered support brackets which fasten securely between the headlight housings and hood using stainless M6 bolts and OEM expansion fasteners. For XTR models, two addition brackets are included for the center pod lights. Zero modifications are required to install this kit AND it’s very easy to install. Hoods retain high rigidty even after install. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have an XTR model, please select the 'XTR Kit' in variation options. If not, select the ‘Standard Kit’ option for standard YXZ’s. XTR brackets are also available for separate purchase.

All support brackets are manufactured out of a moisture and UV resistant polymer. This material is extremely strong, looks great, and is well suited for outdoor environments. Corrosion resistant metal inserts are formed into the brackets for strong threads. This kit is MADE IN THE USA and comes with all necessary hardware for installation - including stainless steel bolts.
